I hope you had an absolutely splendiferous weekend and did lots of fun stuff. I was thinking for this week we should upload all of our projects onto the website so we don't have to do that at a later date. We should also decide the format for our site. I am looking forward to working on our website. I have a lot of neat ideas. We can find a good time this week to discuss our ideas and start putting the website together! I think we can make links on caring for the classroom pet, different types of classroom pets, cost of classroom pets, etc. It should be a good time.

My other website I finally picked my country. I think I am going to make a website about the country Greece.

For my portion of the podcast I did a brief overview of our project explaining which assignments we had done so far. The second part of my half focused specifically on Taskstream and how useful it is to create and update lesson plans and grading rubrics.

I am doing my lesson plan on voting for a classroom pet. In a previous lesson, students will have created "campagins" for the classroom pet of their choice and students will then be voting on which one they want in the classroom. The data collection sheet will be students votes for the pet of their choice. Have a super duper week! :)

Monday Movie-Making Madness

Hey Dude,
The movie I'm going to make is going to be a fictional story about two hamsters named Hammy and Mr. Wiggles. One hamster is going to live in a classroom where he is well taken care of, and the other one is going to live in a classroom where he isn't taken care of very well. It's going to be a romantic comedy. The point of the story is to get students to understand classroom jobs and the importance of good pet care. :)

First off, hamster's rule! Second, my lesson plan will focus on students researching three types of pets that will be chosen by the students. The students will then research information about care for the pets and what jobs they can create for caring for the pet in a classroom environment. Okay bye!!!!

Hey Teri,
Just wanted to let you know that for my lesson plan I will be having students research different classroom animals using a hotlist. They will be looking for general information, habitat, traits, eating habits, etc. and creating power points to present to the class. Students would then use these power points to vote on animals they may be interested in to have in the classroom.

p.s.-Hamsters rule, and I love them. :)
